Poppies!

Last year I was so bummed that there were no poppies because we didn't have much rain. I went to the reserve like everyday HOPING to see a few with no luck. So needless to say I was excited to see Orange hillsides. We went out there this weekend and let the boys see them and walk through them. It was so fun to see their faces when they saw how many there were. One of my favorite pics from the day:

O beef...

I don't normally care for beef much but today I found myself HAVING to have a hamburger with pickles. Let the cravings begin. I was seriously sad when I took the last bite because it was just THAT good to me. I guess this baby is determined to make me gain weight now that the sickness is gone.

With that said, my nephew turned 1 in March so my sister had me take some 1st year pics and I wanted to share. Here is one of the little stud:

I figured I would share some from latest sessions today because I have not blogged much. I am happy to be feeling better and plan to start scheduling sessions again very soon.

A late announcement

I will start out with an announcement for those of you that do not yet know we are expecting again.

It was definitely a shock when we found out, we were not trying and we thought we were out of the baby making biz. We are all very excited though, the boys and Chuck all really want a girl. I have a feeling we will have another boy though. We will all be happy either way as long as we have a healthy, happy, baby.

I have had such horrible morning sickness, which by the way I hate that they call it "morning" sickness when it sometimes last all day and through the night. I am finally starting to feel better and keeping my weight steady. I haven't lost any weight for a week and a half now. I had my first OB apt. and got to have a short U/S because the nurse could not find the heart beat with the hand held monitor. All we did was see/hear the heart beat and it was done. But I still got a glimpse of the baby which is always so neat.

They say I am due Sept. 13th by date of last menstrual but when we go by the day I think we conceived it changes to Oct 13th. So I am sure once we get the U/S with measurements we will be more sure of a due date.

Sunday was Easter, we had a wonderful day. The boys woke up extra early and found their baskets that the easter bunny left for them. They were so excited and showed us each thing that was inside. I cooked up a storm and they played with some of their new outside toys while we waited for company to arrive. All together it was a great day with lots of love and food.

Nathaniel was such a great model for me to try out some new stuff, and just take a few snaps to keep for myself of course. However I got over 20 photo's stuck in lightroom and they won't export which really bums me out. I have never had that problem. I guess I can be thankful it was with my personal photo's and not photo's from a session. That still doesn't make me the momma feel any better though.

Nicholas Lost...

His first tooth!!! He was so excited about the tooth fairy coming he could hardly go to sleep. Here he is showing off his new smile:
