Nevin didn't want to hold the number so I ended up having Nolan do the 5 too, but I thought it was cute when I asked him to look at me with his eyes I got this:

He is so funny, but he sure did get the eye contact down huh? My handsome guy.

The boys in the snow

I guess I forgot to post these...They are from last weekend. We got some Snow and the boys were DYING to play in it. It wasn't a whole lot but they sure made the best of it. Let me just add Being from California doesn't help with the whole driving in the snow thing. I felt like an idiot trying to get to the mall that day (literally 2 minutes from my house and I was still nervous) to use my Kohl's cash before it expired. Hey after all that Kohl's cash was one of the reasons I got up so early on black Friday. :)

And boy was he proud of himself!

Nevin was too worried that the ducks and geese were "freezing cold" to enjoy himself really. He was just hanging out by the fence telling me they were going to be sick.

Notice the cotton glove on his hand. He had a hard time getting his new gloves on I ended up going out that day and getting him some snow mittens instead and he seemed to have a lot easier of a time and they matched his snowsuit too. :) I did manage to get a smile out of him.

Here are some snaps of the boys decorating our tree. The tree is so pretty it almost looks fake, which we tried one year. I just love the tree smell every time I walk into the room. Those sprays just don't cut it. So back to real tree's for us!

When I saw him in this sweater I remembered how big it was on him last year. Now this year it fits him so perfect. Time sure does fly, he is getting big so fast! Here he is now:

Fun with Nevin

I took Nevin out yesterday evening to show him all the leafs he loves the red ones just like me. He is such a ham when I take out the camera. I have to get him without him knowing to get any natural expression. This one is his way of posing for the camera, silly guy!

Happy Birthday daddy!

In honor of Chuck's birthday we decided to bake some brownies. Nevin wanted to help and got all geared up. I of course took the opportunity to take a few shots once the brownies were baking!







Nothing special planned for today. Chuck has to work, but we plan to celebrate this weekend! :)

I just love the connection Nevin has with Nolan already. It is so sweet, he is a wonderful big brother!

Silly boys

I took Nathaniel and Nevin outside for pictures this morning, This is the first one:

Which really captures their personalities. Nathaniel is a thinker and always a bit more serious than the other boys. Nevin on the other hand is so free spirited and playful. Now this is after Nevin decided to yell out "POOP!"

What is it with boys thinking bodily functions are such a funny thing to talk about?! (I remember all my boys, excluding Nolan of course he is still to little and 2 of my nephews sitting at the dinner table and all you could hear is laughter and talk of bodily functions. Silly boys!) Nevin will just randomly say it and the boys laugh so it's been an on going thing.

Nevin and the leaves

Nevin and I got to play outside in the morning on Wednesday while Nathaniel and Nolan were sleeping. Nicholas was already at school, so it was nice to just get a bit of play time with just the 2 of us. I think he enjoyed it, I know I did even though he decided to throw leaves at me. :P

Crystal Blues

Nevin has the most Beautiful crystal blue eyes I have ever seen.


I love them!

Chuck has Brown eyes and I have green. Nicholas and Nathaniel have brown as well. Nolan's are blue, but I think they will change like Nicholas' and Nathaniel's did. We shall see.

Boots

Nevin loves to wear Chucks work boots. This morning I got a couple of pictures of him putting them on without him noticing me. I love how he is concentrating!



Don't mind the baseboards, it's not dirt I promise. There was carpet that got ripped up and the glue is there still. They need to be replaced.

No baby yet, Nolan has decided to take permanent residence. I am starting the eviction proceedings and hope he complies soon! :-P

In a day

Two of my boys marking big milestones in a day, Of course the pregnancy hormones don't help much with my emotions, but time just goes by too fast! Nevin is THREE today, My little guy has grown so much!

Nevin:
Cuddly, smiley, bouncy, energized, silly, goofy, clumsy, tough, playful, clever, sneaky, rough, curious, talkative, cheerful, jolly, macho, lively, noisy, upbeat, wacky, blue-eyed, bright, messy, quirky, sweet, loving, unique, precious, stud, little, adorable!

Nicholas started 1st Grade today, My little helper will be gone all day. I sure will miss all the conversations we have and questions he asks during the day. Of course he LOVES school and was way excited for it to start.

Nevin's Party was Yesterday, he wanted a mickey mouse club house cake and adored it when he saw it. It was a fun day, Chuck spent a lot of it putting together his new toys, including a pretty nifty Sand box from Nana. Here is Nevin taking a break from "helping" put together the sandbox:

Monday is his real Birthday, it is also Nicholas' First day Of 1st Grade. So we will do something to celebrate when he gets out of school. :)
